One of our recent notable wins at the high court involved an arbitration agreement included in our client’s admissions paperwork, allowing their agent to sign it using the victim’s health care power of attorney. The nursing home successfully compelled arbitration after we filed a lawsuit, but the Supreme Court eventually ruled that a power of attorney can’t waive an elderly adult’s right to trial, allowing us to pursue full compensation for nursing home abuse victims.
