Does Lanzone & Morgan, LLP Take Cases Referred to Them by Other Law Firms?

Here at Lanzone Morgan, we get a lot of referrals from other attorneys. Sometimes attorneys will just Google us or Google elder abuse attorneys and find us that way. Sometimes they hear about us through our reputation. But I can tell you, I really like when they call us before the case is filed. I get about a phone call a month from an attorney who says, Hey, I have this elder abuse case. I was thinking about associating you in on the case.

We have a trial in six months. That’s just not enough time to work up the case. We do not like to get involved in cases in the middle of things. We like to get them upfront so that we can work on them from the beginning. They’re complex cases. They involve corporate law. They involve a lot of medicine. I mean, these cases are labor intensive, so we want to get involved at the beginning. A lot of attorneys who refer us to cases realize that. And now they just send the cases straight to us, and we pay a referral fee consistent with California law.
