Case Story: Client Recovery After Injuries at a Skilled Nursing Facility

One case that I handled recently that went to trial involved a 84 year old woman who was suing a skilled nursing facility for elder abuse and neglect, violation of a resident’s bill of rights and negligence. We ended up getting a $2.3 million verdict for this woman, and it was very satisfying to see that the jury actually viewed the case the same way that we did, and hugging my client afterwards and celebrating the verdict was one of the highlights of my career.
